The All-Ireland Social Prescribing Network invites submissions for its 2026 Conference, taking place on 11–12 June 2026.
Connecting Communities: North & South: Building Momentum for Social Prescribing - will bring together link workers, researchers, academics, people with lived experience, community organisations, healthcare professionals, policymakers and advocates to:

Share learning from frontline practice

Celebrate progress and innovation
-
Strengthen collaboration across sectors
-
Identify opportunities for future development

Who Should Submit
We welcome submissions that draw on either practice experience and research evidence from:
-
Social Prescribing Link Workers – Sharing insights from frontline practice, service development, collaboration and innovation within communities.
-
Researchers and Academics – Submissions that strengthen the evidence base for social prescribing through evaluation, impact studies and research that informs practice and policy.
Both oral and poster presentations are welcomed.

Conference Themes
Submissions are invited under the following themes:

Equity and Inclusion of Social Prescribing: Addressing social and structural determinants of health through social prescribing.

Practice Innovation & Service Delivery: real-world implementation and learning from practice
-
Social Prescribing for Children and Young People.
-
Models, Systems & Policy: how social prescribing is embedded in health and social care systems.

Evaluation and Building evidence for Social Prescribing: different methods of evaluating Social Prescribing, novel approaches to evaluation, models and approaches for evaluating cost effectiveness including Social Return on Investment.

Population-Specific Approaches to Social Prescribing: tailoring social prescribing organisation and delivery to meet diverse needs of service users.
